   Soooo much of my favorite music is coming from down under now. Not as blazing as most of the garagerock I love, but this guy's voice takes it way over the top.

3. The Ravonettes - Observator (Vice)

   Danish duo drew me in on this one......I like it a lot. Shoegazey, Echoey.
4. DIIV - Oshin (Captured Tracks)

   Dream poppy, yet with dark undercurrents. A few great instrumentals.
5. Matt Ulery - By A Little Light (Greenleaf Music)

   Chicago based jazz young lion composes a very enjoyable double album. A great listen all the way through.
6. Daughn Gibson - All Hell (White Denim)

   Noirish country electronica.
7. Mission of Burma - Unsound (Fire)

   Amazing release from first-wave Boston punkers who took 20 years off, came back & put out a few pretty good albums, and now this one.
8. Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes (Warp)

   This kind of forward-pushing electronica is not my forte. This release drew me in & helped me get ears for a whole genre.
9. Cloud Nothings - Attack on Memory (Carpark)

   A great psych-garage release from Cleveland punks.
10. Debo Band - Debo Band (Next Ambiance)

    11-piece Boston band channels '70s era Ethiopian music to make you move.
